Upper School
The Upper School expands and further refines the programs begun in the earlier years. Working closely together, the faculty provide the strong curricular continuity that is the hallmark of an outstanding college preparatory school. Piedmont offers Honors classes at all levels and Advanced Placement (AP) courses in a variety of subject areas, including Biology, Calculus, English, United States History, European History and Humanities. Exceptional students are allowed to take courses above grade level, while special small, even individual, classes provide third and fourth year foreign language study to interested students.

22 Carnegie units are required for a honors college preparation diploma.
